Our Story

Expansive indoor/ outdoor wedding and event venue in Northeast Florida on the banks of the St. Johns River.

La Venture Grove is a historical home and citrus grove nestled in the heart of Switzerland, Florida. The six acre property sits on the east side of the St. Johns river promising breathtaking, waterfront sunsets. There are beautiful, 500+ year-old oak trees draped in Spanish moss scattered amongst the property.

The home was built in 1880 by the Moremen family and still has many original elements. It features a luxurious bridal suite and an old, smoke-room style groom suite.

Adjacent to the house, you will find a brand-new, 2,000 square-foot, pole-barn style, covered pavilion with optional walls, heaters and fans. Look out to the waterfront, and take in our expansive lawn and stunning sunset views, year-round.

We provide many amenities, including hand-made, farmstyle tables and benches, whiskey barrel cocktail tables, a handmade arbor, built-in bar and much more!

From touring our venue to choosing a package; from planning out the important details to sending you off at the end of the night - each member of our team has experience and knowledge to make your wedding day truly magical.

Satsuma Package

Sunday | 150 guest max.

Your event includes access to La Venture Grove grounds from 8AM-9PM for a wedding ceremony & reception, including all amenities. Price may vary if you have more guests. Extra morning hours available upon request.

Valencia Package

friday | 150 guest max.

Your event includes access to La Venture Grove grounds from 8AM-10 PM for a wedding ceremony & reception, including all amenities. Price may vary if you have more guests.
